I switched from doing websites in Photoshop to doing them in Fireworks and I can’t imagine doing it otherwise now.

I wouldn’t consider it an alpha release, but apparently adobe only cares about your money, so instead of trying to bring this to a beta stage with some bug fixes , they repack it in the CS5 version and try to sell it to you again, same old garbage.

It crashes continuously on my Snow Leopard so I had to look around for alternatives and I’ve recently found a little gem called DrawIt from Bohemian Coding, it costs close to nothing and it is growing to become a valid alternative to fireworks. I really hope Adobe continues to go forward with their flash only focused business strategy of a second or even third class software company or should I say marketing to see them out of business soon.
