I’m wondering if it might be something related to that.

Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. I had already run the trouble shooter, and it finds nothing amiss. I also have the most current driver from NVidia, and have my updates set to automatically update with the latest driver available so that I’m always current with that.
I am still having the blackout problem, randomly, at least two or three times a day, doing a variety of things. Wondering now if it might be related to my Wacom tablet in some way in fact the screen blacked out and came back on just this second as I was typing this.

That solved the screen blacking out problem, but now I have a new problem. When the computer goes to sleep, on awakening I sometimes not always get a message that the display has shut down and recovered. Sometimes this is accompanied by a very pixelated patch about one x three inches on one or the other of my monitors.
This resolves if I restart the computer. So – just weird stuff. Hard to nail down whether it’s Windows 10, monitors, graphics card or what. In reply to EllenFountain’s post on December 23, I bet the biggest part of us are using dell monitors?
